Description

The 770QEe is the fantastic Bernina 770QE (Quilt Edition) machine with the Embroidery unit purchased together. The extra 'E' on the 770QE represents the Embroidery unit.

The Bernina 770QE (Quilt Edition) has a 4.3” TFT high resolution touch screen and is designed with the patchwork and quilter in mind. It is loaded with 50 fantastic quilting stitches and includes the BSR (Bernina Stitch Regulator) for even stitch length, great when free-motion quilting. A maximum stitch width of 9mm means you can really make the most of the 283 built in decorative stitches. It is fitted with the advanced Bernina Hook which allows quieter running with speeds up to 1000 stitches per minute and 70% more thread capacity. This means less stopping to reload on those larger projects! There is 260mm of space to the right of the needle which combined with a tall throat makes the workspace enormous. Another feature is the Bernina Adaptive Thread Tension system which electronically sets the ideal tension for each stitch no matter what width, length, speed or needle position, producing amazing stitch quality. Finally, the Bernina Dual Feed system is a fantastic feature for difficult fabrics and multi layers, ensuring even fabric feed. It is very simple to engaged and can be used in conjunction with a number of presser feet for total flexibility.

Using the embroidery unit enables you to stitch out any of the 140 built in embroidery designs and 6 alphabets built in to the 770QE. The embroidery unit is easy to use, simply slide on and switch to embroidery mode with the touch screen pen on the colour touch screen. The embroidery unit comes with hoops, designed to hold your fabric perfectly flat and tensioned, ready for embroidery. It will move the embroidery hoop around as the machine stitches, giving a beautifully sharp embroidery. The embroidery area on the unit is 400mm x 210mm and can embroider up to 1000spm! Clarity on the touch screen makes it easy to resize, rotate, move and mirror images. Drop and drag editing, the ability to check individual stitch locations, stitch density and even setting a fabric type make for very precise designs. The screen will display an array of information such as stitch out time, thread colour, size and stitch and transferring designs is easy using the USB port.

Just some of the optional accessories to further enhance this machine include the Free-arm embroidery attachment, Bernina embroidery software 7, CutWork, PaintWork and CrystalWork tools.
