Description

The Passport is considered an entry level machine but is very versatile. It is lightweight, designed to be easily transportable and packed full of features. If you go up the ranges, the Passport is the first computerised machine, as well as being the first to offer Pfaff’s unique IDT system, Integrated Dual Feeder Technology for even fabric feed. It also boasts electronic piercing power and will go through nine layers of denim with ease. This machine won the Red Dot Design Award for its appealing design and easy to understand panel structure. In its class, nothing competes. It is suitable for new sewers, popular with dressmakers and even loved by the established quilter. As the name suggests, it is a ‘passport’ to portable freedom, making it ideal to take to clubs and workshops. It boasts 100 stitches, thread snips and a stitch width that can go up to 7mm wide. The needle can be set to stop down automatically, great for applique. The stop start button is great when you are attaching a button for example, you needn’t even use the foot control! An extension table is also available as an add-on, simply clip it on and you have a much larger working area, great for use with quilts and other large projects.
