The Superior from Horn is a cabinet that can store both a sewing machine and an overlocker, or a second machine. It is spacious with lots of space saving storage including see through bins, two draws with steel gliders and a brilliant magazine compartment. The foldable work area has been designed with Quilters and Dressmakers in mind, extending the sewing area behind the machine, making it perfect for big projects. The Superior also boasts Horn’s fantastic 3 step soft-touch Maxi Air Lift System, which will lift your machine from storage to flatbed and free-arm positions with just a gentle push. When your machine is raised, the needle position is in the center, ensuring you are directly in front of the needle area when sewing. The machine can also be raised level with the worktop, with a handy transparent cover that slips around the needle area of your machine making everything flush. With it’s extra stable construction, the Superior really has been well designed. It has 12 easy rolling lockable castors that are attached to a specially designed reinforced frame and the whole cabinet glides closed, with the great added security of a lock, making it child safe. The work surface is even fitted with flush mounted non snag hinges. What’s more, the whole cabinet comes pre-assembled, so no messing about trying to put it together. The transparent flat bed insert shown in the images is included and is designed to make the area around your machine nice and flush with the rest of the working area.
It closes down to just 126.5cm (50″) wide by 56cm (22″) deep (including drop leaf back) by 76cm (29¾”) high and the colour finishes available are Teak, Beech and White. Please see images for fully open dimensions.
